Manga in America: Transnational Book Publishing and the Domestication of Japanese Comics
The book gives history and information about the US manga industry. Author Casey Brienza interviewed authors in 2010-11, and the book was published in 2015.

Manga: A Critical Guide
This book gives an overview of manga history, different genres and themes in manga, and introduce manga studies. It was published in 2022.
